Moving....again

Well folks Sam and I moving. AGAIN! I am sick of moving every like 4 months. But hopefully this move will be for the best. Over the summer when we were looking for a place to live in Pocatello we were nervous about not getting a place that we really liked. So we looked pretty much all summer. In the middle of July we came down to Pocatello to look at some of the places. I found two that I really liked, one way more than the other, it was sooo spacious and had two bedrooms and two bathrooms. It wasn't the most up to date place, but it did HAVE A DISHWASHER. But it was like $550 plus utilities. Sam found the place we are living in now, it pretty nice looking, but it is a basement apartment. We only pay $450 and don't pay utilities. There is no dishwasher. There is a family of 6 above us and the kids are quite loud. It wouldn't be so bad if there wasn't an air vent from upstairs right into our bedroom. Also they have a "family" room downstairs right next to our living room and the only thing that separates the apartments is a door. Yep you read that right a door, our landlord didn't finish the wall, she just left a door there. Pretty much from the moment we moved in until now we have wanted to move out. The landlord said a lot of things about the apartment that we complete lies, like the noise. She made a lot of promises that never happened. So we are moving into University housing. We hope that it will be slightly better being back in a complex where when you complain about something it will actually get fixed. In our apartment now, there are like four stairs that you go down to get inside. There is a drain at the bottom so when it rains, that area won't flood and make us walk in water to leave. Well the drain does not work and we told our landlord this about 2 months about. And she still hasn't done anything about it. So when it does rain (which is not often in Idaho) we have try to jump out our door on the the stairs to avoid the three inches of water that accumulate. It has just been an hassle of an apartment and we don't want to deal with it anymore. Also we are really hoping to be in a younger ward with people in similar situations to us. I guess we will see.

Until next time!
